Autonomous Driving: From Basics to Behavior Challenges

Abstract

Let’s start the story with how modern Autonomy Stack is arranged from a technical point of view. Then we will move on to the problems and challenges that are currently acute in self-driving area. Let us discuss in detail the problems in the behavioral part of the technology, in particular the problem of safety and the related task of motion prediction. The discussion will be based on the materials of the report at the workshop of the CVPR-2023 conference, as well as open lectures that Aleksandr gave at the University of California, Berkeley, DeepDrive.
